Details:

This Smiths tachometer is a wonderful and rare vintage piece. Some of the original brass is showing through black paint on bezel which actually looks very nice. While the Rev counter does work properly a servicing is probably in order.

The angle drive is in very nice condition.

It does work. Rear mounting studs looks to have been repaired or changed.
